Sebastian x Reader, Obscurum Cantum renidet Part 7

Sebastian pushed up his glasses, looking at you through the darkness of the carriage cab.  "The Viscount Druitt. He Graduated from medical school, but has not gone into practice. He has recently thrown several parties at his home. However, people say he simultaneously holds secret parties that only his intimates may attend."

"I've heard rumors that he is into black magic and that sort of thing." Red smiled.

"So you suspect that at these underground parties, they perform ceremonies and sacrifice prostitutes?" Lau said.

"Tonight is the last party of the season." Ciel said, standing up as the carriage slowed down to a stop and the door opened, letting Ciel out. A man waiting outside took Ciel's hand gently and guided him out. "Which means this is our only chance." He said. Right as he was outside and standing at his full height, you had a chance to examine his full look. He was wearing a long pink dress with white frills, and a hat to match. He had two pigtails, and some of his hair covered his eye that was normally concealed by an eye patch. You giggled a bit at how cute he looked, and he glanced at you a bit that only made you smile more.

You were lead inside, to see a large crowd of people laughing and enjoying each others company. You all headed to a corner where you could talk for just a moment.

"Ciel will be my niece who is visiting from the country, and Sebastian will play Ciel's tutor." Madame Red explained as you looked at Sebastian and Ciel.

'Sebastian looks amazing..' You thought, blushing a bit and refocusing on Ciel.

Ciel looked at Madame Red, blushed, and yelled. "Why do I have to play your niece?!"

Madame Red held her fan up to her chest and smiled wide. "Because dear, I've always wanted a girl."

"That's your reason?!" Ciel exclaimed.

Madame Red got closer and whispered in his ear, " You can't let them find out you're a Phantomhive, can you? Besides. I heard Lord Druitt has an eye for any pretty little thing in a skirt, and we do want to catch his eye, don't you?"

Sebastian leaned in closer to Ciel too with a smirk. "You did say you'd use any means necessary."

Ciel glared at him and then scoffed, walking away. "(F/N), Lau, Red, keep your eye out."

You nodded and responded with a yes as Madame Red, Lau, and Grell wandered off. You walked around, looking for anything suspicious.

"(F/N), is that you?"

You turned around to see Elizabeth waving at you with a big grin on her face. "Oh, hello Elizabeth."

She ran over to you and curtsied and then looked around. "Is Ciel here? Are you here alone?"

You looked at her, surprised and looked around too and spotted Ciel and Sebastian walking together talking. "Uh, no. I came here with Madame Red."

Lizzy looked down for a second, and then cheered right back up. She pointed at your dress and you looked down, examining what you were wearing. It was a light blue dress with puffy sleeves, but on the bottom it had extravagant black lacework that made a picture of a bird in flight. "Your dress is so cute!" She squealed loudly. You smiled at her and turned back to glimpse at Ciel and Sebastian looking at you with very surprised and worried eyes. "I adore all the dresses here, they are simply lovely!" she smiled.

You looked back at Lizzy and tried to keep her away. "I love your dress too. Where did you buy it?"

She smiled and looked around as if to point someone out and then instead spotted Ciel who was trying to slink away. "Oh! That girl’s dress is absolutely adorable!"

Lizzy ran off and you tried to grab her, but right as she was out of reach, a man jumped in front of you. "Oh, I'm sorry miss, but would you happen to be (F/N?)(L/N) of the (L/N) clothing company?"

You nodded and looked at him, "Uh, yes, but I'm sorry, I can't talk at this moment. I'm in a bit of a hurry." and tried to get past him.

He placed a hand on your shoulder and pulled you back. "What's the hurry Miss? The party has only just begun."

"Uh, Yes, but you see, I--"

"Would you like a drink?" He asked.

You shook your head. "Excuse me sir, but I really need to powder my nose."

He looked at you, a bit embarrassed and then let you go. You ran off and looked for Lizzy. You soon spotted her as she was chasing after Ciel and headed her way. Running through the people, you were soon losing your breath. "Stupid corset!" You mumbled to yourself. Lizzy kept running, but was stopped by a server.

"Lemonade, my lady?" The server asked as Lizzy slowed down. You caught up to her and the server looked at you worried as you were trying to catch our breath. You sighed and looked at the man. "Excuse me miss, but, would you like a drink?" You nodded, still panting a bit as he handed you a glass.

You downed the drink and looked at his surprised look. You looked for Lizzy who was wandering around, complementing the dresses again. You took another drink and downed that glass too. The drink tasted a bit funny and you looked at the server. "What’s in this?"

The server took the empty glass from your hands and placed it on the platter. "It’s a mix drink miss." He said as you began to feel a bit fuzzy.

"Well, get me some more please." You said.

He nodded and ran off, soon coming back with a full platter. You downed two more drinks and walked away, only to bump back into the man who was pestering you before.

He looked at you surprised, and then smiled. "Finally back, Miss?"

You stared at him, unable to say anything and right as you thought of something to say, a song began to play.

The man looked at you, and took your hand. "Would you like to dance Milady?" Before you could reply, he pulled you as if you were a lifeless doll, and into a dance. He spun you around, making your head dizzy, and your feet drag. You tried to pull away from his grip, but your body wasn't responding. All you could do was lay your head on his chest and try not to get too dizzy. He chuckled at you, "Everything OK down there?"

You laughed at him and looked up. "I will have you know that everything is fine."

He smiled at you, and you began to dance with him, finally getting used to the spinning. You giggled all through the song and when it was over, you slipped away from the man who was clapping along with the others. You laughed and stood up straight, trying to focus when a loud thud attracted you. You looked over to your side and saw a man with a large white box bowing to the crowd. He stood up, and even though he was wearing a mask, you could still tell who it was.

"Hehe, that's Sebastian" You giggled to yourself.

Sebastian glanced over at you for a moment and began to speak. "Everyone, if you would please gather around, tonight's magic show will now begin." You smiled wide and turned to him. Sebastian looked at Lau who was fanning Madame Red with a large leaf. "Pardon me sir, but would you kindly assist me?"

"Assist you? Certainly." Lau said, walking forward and joined Sebastian's side.

Sebastian walked forward and spoke loudly for everyone. "A noble cabinet, once I climb inside, close it tightly, and bind it with these chains." Sebastian lifted a sword and placed the tip against the side of the box, "Then, simply run it through with the swords." He handed the sword to Lau and went inside the box. "I shall emerge perfectly unharmed. This is no trick or illusion. Prepare for a performance of true magic." Sebastian closed the doors and chains wrapped around the cabinet. You looked at him excited to see the outcome as Lau examined the sword.

"Well, here goes nothing." He said before jumping high in the air and stabbing the box from above.

Everyone, including you, gasped in shock. You tried to do something, but your body didn't respond to your orders.

Lau ran several swords through the box in every direction possible. When he was out of swords, the chains practically disintegrated and the box opened. Sebastian came out, looking completely fine. The crowd applauded Sebastian and you stepped up to him.

"Are you OK?" You slurred a bit.

He placed his hand on his forehead and smiled at you reassuringly.

Madame Red walked up to Sebastian. "Sebastian! How incredible!"

Lau smiled and asked, "Indeed. For a moment I thought I really killed you."

"It actually hurt quite a bit more more than expected. I didn't think you would aim straight for my head. Anyone else would have died." Sebastian said walking away.

"So, what was the trick to it anyway?" Lau asked.

Madame Red looked over at him shocked. "You stabbed him that many times without knowing?!"

Sebastian turned back at you with a smirk placed perfectly on his face. "I told you: there were no tricks or illusions, just magic."

He began walking again and you staggered after him. You watched him walk outside, and when you got to the door, he was gone. You kept walking and searching for him in the darkness. You reached an alleyway and saw something black at the end of the alley. You walked toward it, and found someone you did not expect.

"Grell?" You asked.

Grell turned to you a bit surprised, and then smiled. "Oh, it's just you Miss (F/N)"

You stumbled closer and tripped a bit. Grell caught you, and smiled, "What are you doing out here?"

You looked at him for a moment, trying to remember. "I forgot" You giggled.

Grell looked at you worried and then looked around. "We should find someone for you."

Right then, a hand was placed on your shoulder. "Don't worry, I can take her back to the party."

You looked back to see the man that was dancing with you, and annoying you. "Hey... It's you!" You laughed.

Grell looked at him and then at you, "Do you know this man?"

"Uh.. Yea" You said swaying a bit.

The man took your hand and began taking you away. "Don't worry, she is in good hands."

Grell watched you worriedly, and then he walked off. You stopped, but the man kept dragging you. You went around a corner, and he quickly pinned you against a wall and placed a hand on your breast.

"Hey. Watch your body parts." You said with a slight slur. The man chuckled and kissed your neck, feeling your body. You struggled against him, but your body was so flimsy, all you could manage to do was squirm. "Hey!"

He placed a hand on your mouth and smiled cockily at you. You looked up trying to get away and saw something pink flying through the air. You squirmed even more, and the slipped a hand onto your neck. "Shut up, or I will kill you here."

You choked a bit and he released your neck. You gasped for a breath and glared at him. He kissed your neck more and trailed down your collar bone to the top of your dress. You tried to lift your dress, but it was too hard considering the position you were in, and how heavy it was. The man lifted his head and smiled at you.

"I knew you would give up soon," He said grabbing your dress and lifting it just enough so you could grab the fencing saber you kept strapped to your leg, and place it on the man’s throat.

"I know your blood’s warm. That's for sure." You smiled.

He lifted his hands and backed away from you. "Haha, you know, I was just kidding about that all."

You laughed evilly and stumbled towards him with the saber pointed at his throat. You took a few steps forward before tripping.

You flew through the air, confused on what was happening when something soft caught you. You opened your eyes as Sebastian was lifting you up back on your feet. Sebastian smiled and walked toward the man who was glaring at you and Sebastian.

"Excuse me sir, but can you refrain from touching the young miss? If not, I'm afraid I will have to deal with you personally." Sebastian said with a evil smirk.

The man stood up and spit towards Sebastian, and turned his back to you both, walking away.

Sebastian turned back to you and bowed. "I'm very sorry miss. I should have never let this happen to you." You smiled and shook your head and Sebastian took you in his arms, carrying you. "Miss, I would like to ask. Did you have any alcoholic drinks this afternoon?"

You looked at him and thought for awhile, "Lemonade.... I think."

He smiled at you, "And how many?"

"Four," You said smiling and laying your face on Sebastian's. "Whoa. Your skin is soft!" You said rubbing your face against his.

Sebastian chuckled. "You did well today miss." He said as he jumped into the air, flying from building to building.

You stopped rubbing your face on his and looked at him. "Wanna know something funny? Right before I tripped, I heard that thingy again."

Sebastian looked at you seriously. "I do not understand what you’re talking about miss."

"You know. The Latin thing.. It goes like this:
'Agnus Dei qui tollis peccata mundi;
qui pius es factus, protho plaustisanet ut actus:
Miserere nobis.'"

Sebastian looked away from you as his eyes turned that pinkish glow again. "Please miss. Could you refrain from saying that?"

You looked closer at him and turned his face toward yours, only leaving inches between you and him. "There they are again. They're so pretty." You slurred with a smile.

Sebastian stopped jumping and looked at you closely. His face got closer, letting you see every detail of his eyes. You could feel his breath on your lips, and warmth of his body on yours. "We are here miss."

You looked away from him to realize that you were back at the mansion. Sebastian carried you up to your room and helped you out of your dress and corset. Considering your state, you passed out almost immediately. Right before you slipped into sleep, you could feel a breath on your ear, and a whisper only you could hear.

"I told you to be careful. It would be terrible if something happened to you." The voice chuckled and leaving you to your sleep.
